"You bring a time from the past to life. I was reminded of the feeling I had reading The Diary of Anne Frank. It is so personal. The story tells of such sensitive and talented men, who were also so brave. This work is fabulous, a real reminder of what came before in order to make today what is..." "The Tracy letters are of great interest to anyone interested in the 122nd New York Infantry, Shaler's Brigade, Onondaga County or New York State participation in the war." William A. Frassanito, Civil War Historian and bestselling author and photographic historian

  2. Sarah,

I can't wait to read the book! My mother told me about a distant family relative, a General Pope in the Revolutionary War, but unfortunately we did not have the treasure trove of documentation about his experiences, that you do.

Good luck an let me know when the book is out. I will want to get you to sign my copy.

  3. Sarah, Looking forward to the book! Elizabeth has incorporated some of Osgood's experiences into her summer term paper on Civil War prisons. Reading about Osgood has brought history to life for her.

    Good luck!
